Conformia is an AI-powered document analysis application designed to help teams assess compliance against structured requirements at scale.
It was built to address a growing challenge: organizations are producing large volumes of regulatory and policy documents, but reviewing them thoroughly remains slow, manual, and difficult to scale.
From research to demo
Conformia draws inspiration from projects like AI against Modern Slavery (AIMS), where researchers explored how AI could help analyze thousands of corporate disclosures related to modern slavery laws.
As highlighted in AIMS, the core problem is not access to data — it's the ability to systematically review and compare large volumes of documents efficiently.
Conformia takes a pragmatic approach to this challenge:
